Security¶

The OPC UA Connector service is installed as a Windows service running under the “Local Service” account, a built-in Windows account with low privileges. You can change the account for of the service to a different user account if preferred, following general guidelines.

Additionally, the following folder permissions need to be granted for the OPC UA Connector service account.
